The Moravian-Silesian Railway Museum, o.p.s.The Moravian-Silesian Railway Museum, o.p.s. was founded in June 2012. The museum introduces to the public the history of railways in the 19th and 20th centuries. The first exhibition is focused on presenting the history of the railway coal siding in the region of Ostrava. Thanks to the interest of the public the exhibition has been extended until the end of August 2014. 17.00-23.00 Free admission to the exhibition premisesA little surprise will be prepared for the “night” visitors! There will be some functional objects that a few years ago were used to transmit signals to the night trains. The museum is located in the historical station building of the Ostrava-center railway station. The exhibition space of the museum is located on the 1st floor of the building with access from the lobby of the station. |
