| On Saturday, June 7, 2014, from 17.00 to midnight, 34 governmental, non-profit and private organizations involved in the cultural life of the city and the Moravian-Silesian Region introduce their activities around the city of Ostrava. Also this year we welcome new participants. Old Arena prepares the Museum of Ostrava independent culture of the 20th century. The Moravian-Silesian Railway Museum presents the history of rail transport in the 19th and 20th centuries. Plato – a platform for contemporary art Ostrava offers a sample of the Gallery of Ostrava activities. The booking system will again spare you from having to wait in queues. Do not miss an exceptional cultural program free of charge that the organizations have prepared for you. Join us on unusual night wanderings in search of adventure and fun. This year we again have special free buses ready to transport you between the participating institutions. Follow up with us the tradition of the opening ceremony that we have established last year and come to support us again. The opening ceremony will take place in front of the New Town Hall at Prokešovo Square at 18.00. In the presence of representatives of the city and of the organizing institutions we start the event by blowing soap bubbles. The visitors can pick up free bubble blowers from 17.30.
